A number of people have asked what software / workflow I used to create the Groups video and my other videos, so here's how I did it, in brief:

I used Blender and Google Sketchup to make the 3D model of the city and the floating houses.  I used Quicktime to get the screengrabs of the site.  I edited the unprocessed screengrabs together in Premiere Pro, with voiceover that I recorded in Soundbooth and the music track.  Then I brought the Premiere Pro project into Aftereffects as well as the unprocessed 3D renders and did all the animation and fx work there.

The intro with Angelo was shot here at the dA HQ studio with my Canon 5DmkII in front of a greenscreen.  I edited with Final Cut Pro, colored with Aftereffects, keyed with AdvantEdge and used backgrounds that I made for this video:  [link]
