@01:33Ok, so I see the timeline shortcut is already done! DoH! My Bad!

Although it allows to read the comment, it doesn't actually show the frame the user paused on - and pressing play starts from the beginning? Not from where the timeline shortcut is marked.

Having a bit more control of the streaming would be cool, like spacebar for play/pause? and arrows keys to single step back and forth to see a particular frame?

How about a thumb feature for the timeline shortcut links?

Ok, I have to take the weenie bait. So what is deviant about dA. Deviate from what? Taken as a whole it seems within one "standard deviation from the norm?" Call it keeping us honest. Deviant art and dA barely share co-domains. It comes off as a snappy living on the wild side or in the worse case I have seen, It looked like a magazine add with a less than common body shape corresponding more with mainstreet and the problems it creates. I do not know how prevalent it is, The whisky voiced chic doing the add.... I will skip that. Oh and if anyone dislikes the word chic reference american english, "Commonly used to denote an attractive woman all over the socio-ethnic spectrum. If the worst thing I do is tell somehing umcomfortably close to the trurh, I have done my job promoting better art. Yes, I believe normal is dull, insipid, and uninspiring. I do not think dA would appeciate bots run on the site, so, It is hard to estimate how center of center the site is. However the placee is snappy and hip. When will y'all issue common stock or float some bonds If it oozes commerce.

This us an awesome intro to

, although it does seem a bit lacking on any specific visual info about the content being shown - ie. no annotation options to choose whether or not to show any subtitles for narration, in case a deaf person wanted to know whats being said.

Granted, ever other frame of this clip is a work of art in itself - but as much time & effort that went into it, could have or be multiplied tenfold by making all the information it represents available to the viewers that want to know about the different artists being showcased.

So, with more accessibility options and a few extra features in a video player to allow some of what I'm suggesting - would undoubtedly explain a lot of the questions in people's minds as they watch it.

Maybe even use the timeline commenting feature to add the narration? And increase the fade delay so it would act as a somewhat useable subtitling feature!

Or add/include a link/url parse process script for the player timeline ie. :What-is-dA-132909151/#01.33: or whatever the syntax might be for it, if it already has that feature?

Yes, I think you could call me lonely. I do have this computer and I talk to people through email, but I am afraid of the facebook thing because of the stories I have read abou it. But a lot , or I should say, most of the time, when I write a letterr, I seldom if ever get a reply. Why? Because I always seem to want to write to someone I meet on the internet that doesn't know who I am. Maybe now that will change, but I am not depending on too much.

Frustrated! Yes, I think so---- I feel like I have spent my whole life pursuing the intagible things that were fun at the time, but now it has become apparent to me that I have really accomplished absolutely nothing. O yes, I did bring six children into the world, but I spent the better part of my life either in the USNavy, or driving a truck over the road long distance, so really I had not very much input in their lives. It seems they all made good though. They are all home owners with great paying jobs, even one artist that is studying animation for commercial use. The first one, my eldest daughter was born in Marseilles France Her mother's parents, My girlfriend's were parents of Japanese and French decent. Her mom was Japanese and her father was half French and Half Japanese. These things are what I have to be proud of, but not, because, I had no or little input on their upbringing.

HAH!! this is a good one!! Yes, I very much enjoy watching the very attractive young ladies doing their dance and singing thing. I especially like one Hikaru Kotu. But again, It is really eye candy for me. If I were 50 years younger it might just be different, but I am superbly positive I could never ever keep up with the likes of her, or any of her cute little friends. What was a real shock to me was what I read in Wikipedia about her, but neverthe less, It did not quench the WOW I see in her, nor the dream of what might have been. I was 45 the year she was born!!! Not good!!!

No, I do not want to get involved with any real long term commitment, just a real honest friend in whom I can confide and who might confide in me. You see, I am 72 years old now and don't get out much, but I think I have a lifetime of experiences with which I can share and maybe, hopefully give someone some kind of helpful suggestions

I live alone in the mountains of western North Carolina in a 14'X 65'mobile home. It is quite sufficient for me as I have few needs and or activities. This is the reason I join deviant art. I think I shall enjoy looking in on the creations of real artists and how they do what they do. I just really need some kind of social interests which at the time is devoted to nature, but trees don't generally hold much of a comversation. I am hoping I will gain that here. Any comments on this?
